The Dream Big Interactive Initiative
The Dream Big Interactive Initiative program features Contemporary R&B Artist Lance Thompson, who provides positive motivational speaking and encouragement to children about achieving their goals. Most of all “The Dream Big Interactive Initiative” encourages children to never give up on themselves and their dreams. This program will provide a high energy music performance from Lance Thompson and motivational speeches throughout the program. The Dream Big Interactive Initiative inspires, builds-up and motivates children by the Artist’s performance as well as his musical journey. Dreams may evolve into another path, but the key is to never give up. Contemporary R&B Artist Lance Thompson is available this coming year (2024) to bring his original sound and positive energy to Caddo, Bossier, Red River, Desoto, other Louisiana parishes and out of state schools.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lance Thompson is an American Contemporary R&B singer, songwriter, and producer. Currently in 2024, Lance has amassed over 1 million video plays over various social media platforms. His passion shows through his music as well as his artistic choices shown through his work. Born and raised in Shreveport, LA, his love for music birthed early in life singing and dancing with his mother. Lance started to perfect his craft by studying musical icons Michael Jackson, James Brown, and Stevie Wonder. As a young child, Thompson continued to hone his musical crafts through church, school, and community choirs. Lance uses his love for God and his life experiences to create music that not only entertains fans but inspires them.

Lance has garnered recognition on The Billboard Top 100 (2017) charts as a song writer. Lance was interviewed as a featured artist in “The Creative Magazine” and “SB Magazine” as well as interviewed by KTBS and KTAL news outlets. He truly believes in showing his gifts and talents to the community where he grew up. He has performed at the following: Rockets over the Red, Balloon Rally, McDonalds Sound Off, Music Prize, Louisiana State Fair, The Red River Revel and Songs of the Season. Thompson also debuted his first official concert, “Undeniably Lance Thompson” in Shreveport, LA. Lance’s signature sound and style bridges generations.
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Vernae Ewing Thompson holds a BS in Marketing and an MBA. She worked for Barksdale AFB for twelve years as a Commercial Sponsorship Director. Vernae also has a background in acting, writing published books, modeling, film/music video producing, as well as directing. She acquired her love for books and writing through her childhood experiences while listening to her father’s wild bedtime adventure stories. She is married to singer/songwriter Lance Thompson.
